Commercial buses with a higher than 24 seat capacity will not be allowed onto Deep Cove Road without a permit. TransLink vehicles are the exemption. Maximum occupancy on Quarry Rock. Park Rangers will also be monitoring the number of visitors occupying Quarry Rock, as a means to ensure public safety.

As of late January, 2021, Quarry Rock Trail is still closed. A good number of businesses in the village are open. After being closed for a while, people can also once again rent boats from Deep Cove Kayak.
