This is a great platform, solidly built. I bought the one-inch version and ground the opening wider to accommodate 1 1/4quot; CBN wheels. I also ground the back to match the existing grind. I also had to rout 4 small channels into my grinding platform table to get the UGS-to-Wolverine adapter to fit close enough to the grinder wheel.
